Life Always Matters

HOSPICE IS:

A concept of end-of-life care, not a place. Emphasis is on quality of life during the living time between a terminal diagnosis and death. Hospice accepts death as a natural part of life, seeking neither to hasten nor prolong the dying process. This carefully developed concept provides services for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the whole person and their families. A team of professionals and trained volunteers provide care mainly in the home. This enables the patient to retain the dignity of controlling their lives, in comfort, surrounded by loved ones, during this time
