Welcome to Hospice of McDowell County's Web page. You have entered the web site of an organization that is growing, improving and expanding. Our vision for the next five to ten years has broadened: we want to set the standard of excellence in the community to meet the challenges and opportunities of end-of-life care. We want to listen to and meet the needs of our patients and families while serving the needs of other individuals in the community who are facing end-of-life issues.

By God's grace and strength we can do this! Already we are actively growing our internal structure and systems and setting standards for our staff and programs.

Our next steps include defining and expanding our programs in end-of-life care to reach the Hospice patients, their families and beyond - to all our community - while beginning plans to build an End-of-Life Center to serve the residents of McDowell County.
